Red Queen
Kanoodle is monetizing RSS via contextual ads. Put this in the context of ads hitting Firefox more effectively, and defeating pop-up blockers more effectively in general. A classic Red Queen race begging for discontinuous innovation to disrupt what's essentially the same old value equation being rewritten over and over again.
