Too busy to blog today...check out Buzztracker if you're bored.

Although I'm grateful for the linkage and emails, please note my Feed Economics post shouldn't be read simply as 'Technorati lost' - I think it's too early to make that call, because no dominant design's emerged yet for the micromedia ecosystem. The game is not zero-sum (yet).

My point was a little more complex: that that economics is really what shapes successful strategies, which are built around a firm's resources and capabilities. So understanding the deep economics of your industry/technology is crucial in deciding what to do with the capabilities you've got.

Technorati and Bloglines are nicely contrasting examples of strategies built around my take on feed economics - but that's not to say either one's 'won', because the market is still coalescing. I think it's fair to say they've gained and lost near-term advantages, but that's about all. Om summed this up nicely.

Will try and detail some thoughts on this tomorrow, as well as respond to Niall K, who was nice enough to comment.
