What a pivotal moment in time. And so we begin the next leg of the journey by working together to turn the ship's wheel. Hopeful.
 

We had record numbers at the polling place I worked yesterday (63% turnout compared to the usual 32%). People of all ages and races came out to vote, many for their first time. I was proud to see so many people excited to come out and vote, and I'm glad that we have a little time to celebrate.
