Here are details about the MPAA's new 'education' (brainwashing) program for kids. It's called 'Digital Citizenship', and it's in association with Junior Achievement.

This is so Orwellian I have problems even posting it. Corporations should not be allowed to push their values and ethics on people - especially not kids, especially not in public institutions. Where is the outcry that needs to be raised about this?

When I was in school, we were recruited every year - as early as seventh grade - to sell magazine subscriptions. We were rewarded with (if we sold enough) cheezy sunglasses and other trinkets. Even then, I found it sickening, and refused to do it.

I took flak from all the authority figures at school for this - from the principal to my teachers. 'Digital Citizenship' is the same thing, but worse. I hope there are still some revolutionary kids left in schools who will tell the MPAA where to put this program. (Via Copyfight)
