Wow. Craig Barrett doesn't hold back - hammers California (and the country's) governance, with a particular focus on economics. He argues that obsolete industries which don't create wealth or enable comparative advantage need to stop being protected - until they are, businesses have no choice but to shift inputs to more competitive environments. He also confirms that Intel won't be hiring or expanding it's capacity in California anytime soon. This is a must read article.
