The NYT has an article about the Media Center PC/Networked Hub being the Next Big Thing, allowing PC's to take control of the living room. Old news - the difference is that more players are making this the foundation of their strategy going forward - including MS and Intel.

Also, They don't talk about the real issue behind all of this: digital property rights. I think Media Center PC's will be the tablet PC's of 2005, because firms will try and push DRM deathstar tactics that consumers derive massive negative value from.
