Qwest is launching VoIP trials in Minnesota next month; SBC's just announced the details of it's VoIP offering. Verizon's joining the party in January, BellSouth is offering it for SMEs.

How much of this is vaporware and how much reality? I think it's largely for real - even the telcos aren't shortsighted enough not to invest seriously in VoIP.
