It seems that my worst fears about Orbitz are already beginning to come true - it's corporate governance is, to put it kindly, a little unbalanced.

You coud read about the CEO, who gets a bonus as the price of Orbitz shares falls. Or you could read about the airlines who own the majority stake, planning to claim a corporate governance exemption, so they can control the board. This is less unusual, but it shouldn't make you feel much better as a potential shareholder.
