HP's launching (surprise, surprise) an HP-branded music download service and iPod clone in Q1.
I am absolutely astonished at the acceleration in the pace of imitation - obviously, it's accelerated because succesful innovations have been sparse for a while - but it's still insane. Not just in this market - in markets as diverse as food, films, clothes (not to mention blade servers). I think I'll call it hyperimitation from now on.
