I can't believe the Slashdot crowd hasn't made a big deal out of the fact that Flash now allows remote access of camera and mics (which Doubleclick apparently takes massive advantage of).
The marketing droids keep looking for ever more powerful weapons to interest hyperaware consumers...not noticing that Google's already found the model for the future - and it's not on built on idiotic tactics to grab 'attention', build 'awareness' and promote 'loyalty'. It's just built on simple microeconomics.
