Mobile phone use in different cultures. Reminds me of a comment I heard in a lecture at Stanford regarding how technology influences mannerisms and culture. The individual noted how back in the '80s if you walked the streets of Manhattan and saw someone mumbling to themselves, you would conclude they were nutso. Now we just don't give it a second thought! (or look for the ear-piece - what new gadget could they be using?)
