I'm reading this just now too (Along with Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals.
For those of your readership who are living in the US, Rebel Sell was published here under the title Nation of Rebels.
I have some quibbles with the argument -- decrying the idea of the Spectacle is all well and good, but there is a conversation to be had about an advertising industry whose primary product *is* demand.
All in all, though, I think it's a good read, and informing (in the original sense of the word).
