Innovation Wednesdays

Guys, I am going to start holding weekly get-togethers for those interested in media/www/consumer/edge vs core/innovation in general.

These are going to be informal, not clubby, and the point is just to have a few interesting discussions.

The first one is going to be at Coco Momo (formerly Dusk), 79 Marylebone High Street, this Wednesday, from 7-9. All are welcome (esp anyone who can think of a cleverer name).

Hi Umair
Sounds interesting
I have created a public calendar for Innovation Wednesdays :

Count me in for Wednesday

I'll be there - I need a drink. I'll need one even more by Wednesday - TIOTI finally launches as a beta this week. Keep 'em peeled.

It's got to be called Last Wednesday ;-)

Wednesday is the third day and the third day was the day on which, allegedly, god created water and seeds (see e.g. http://qurl.com/sv4yg). So "Water and Seeds" might work as a classical allusion, and metaphorically sum up what you're trying to achieve (as well as being something of a nod to Beer and Innovation).

Can't make this week; moving house. But count me in for week two.

Can someone bring a laptop and do a live podcast or videocast of the meeting so we here in the States can be part of this? I'm only half kidding.

Could someone at least take notes or minutes and log what discussions and points were raised by whom?

If there is any dedicated bubblegen-ers in San Francisco reading this, I think we should schedule our own innovation meeting. What do you think? (p.s. I'm serious)

pps I submitted this again because I got an error the last time when I tried...if my first attempt did go through, I apologize for the double post!

How about the "Mid-Week Vision Seek". That's sexy..I like it!

Or perhaps the "Mid-Week Media Speak".

Will do my best to be there. Brilliant idea!

I was on the "third day of the week origin meme" as well, mytake was wed, third day, third planet, edge of the planet,"The Karman line", at 100 km (62 mi), frequently used as the boundary between atmosphere and space. It lacks a certain rythem don't you think. Yet, The Karman Line.... could be a spy film....

Ummm..."Edgy WEDgies"? :-).

Do try to podcast, if you can.
