Etsy vs Branding Mini Case Study
A very interesting brand deconstruction from an Etsy seller.
Points squarely to what places like Etsy will be in the very near future: where brands turn connected consumers into prosumers.
In fact, this is what Etsy should be doing (but that's another story).
The point isn't Etsy, though - it's bigger. This is a very powerful case study which lets us begin to glimpse the contours of next-gen branding/marketing/etc.
Comments:
Dude, that is absolutely brilliant. I am *so* buying that wallet! If that doesn't send shivers down the spine of every marketer or brand "manager", I don't know what will. Of course, I couldn't pray for Lords of Disruption to smile on a nicer bunch :) :).
