Did Steve Jobs Kill Transparency?
Valleywag has been a great read lately (and not just for the gossip :)
But Nick D, as expert as he in all things PR, is wrong in this case - ie, the iPhone doesn't disprove or even really challenge radical transparency.
Different kinds of new DNA are important in different businesses. We don't all want, or need, the same constraints and capabilities.
Transparency isn't very important for simple product focused businesses - but it's absolutely crucial for others.
