Facebook
Got an email asking me about Facebook's rev, what I think, etc. To be honest, I think there are some good ideas there. One of the defining principles of 2.0 is to create value by vaporizing yesterday's artificial distinctions between public and private (but yes, it would be wise to make many of the new features optional, at least at first). But, on another level, (how can I say this nicely) I'm not so interested - and possibly, you shouldn't be either. I think there are bigger fish to fry, and it's time to put on our collective thinking hats again - instead of worrying about incremental changes to what is essentially yesterday's radical innovation.
